I move:—
Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £1,500 chun íoctha an mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1939, mar roimh-íoc chun Cuideachta do bhunú ar a dtabharfar Monarchana Alcóil na hÉireann, Teoranta (Uimh. 23 de 1938).
That a sum not exceeding £1,500 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on 31st of March, 1939, as an advance for the establishment of a Company to be known as Monarchana Alcóil na hÉireann, Teoranta (No. 23 of 1938).
The House will recall that under Section 7 of the Industrial Alcohol Act, 1938, which became law on 20th July this year, it was provided that as soon as may be the Minister for Finance shall take all such steps as appear to him to be necessary or desirable to procure that a limited company conforming to the conditions laid down in the Schedule to that Act shall be formed and registered under the Companies Acts. The purpose of this Supplementary Estimate is to provide the money to pay the stamp and other duties necessary upon the formation of the company, to cover the cost of printing, the memorandum and articles of association, and to provide for the other preliminary expenses of the flotation. It is anticipated that they will not exceed £1,500.
