Statistics relating to exports to and imports from each country are not compiled monthly for each description of goods, and the information desired by the Deputy is, therefore, not available. The total aggregate value of all exports to, and all imports from, each country in each month is published in Trade Statistics, which is issued monthly by my Department. Statistics are compiled annually and published in the annual Trade and Shipping Statistics for the exports and imports of each description of goods to and from each country. The latest published issue is that for 1936; the issue for 1937 is in the press and will be published within a few weeks.
