I move the following amendment:—
In page 4, to insert before Section 8 a new section as follows:—
8. —Sub-section (7) of Section 41 of the Principal Act is hereby amended by the deletion therein of the words "by this section" and the substitution in lieu of the words so deleted of the words "for the time being by law", and the said sub-section shall be construed and have effect accordingly.
This amendment is necessary because in the original Section 41 of the Act the words "by this section" occurred. This Bill, of course, now is becoming part of the code dealing with prices legislation, and accordingly we should have something in this Act that would cover both, such as the words "for the time being by law".
