Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing in County Clare.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he has received the report of the medical officer of health for Clare concerning the plight of the people of Cree, Doonbeg, County Clare, resulting from an epidemic of typhus fever, and if he will take what steps, if any, he intends taking towards the building of houses to replace the existing ones which have been condemned.

A report was received from the county medical officer of health. He also reported to the board of health and public assistance and their recommendations for the provision of alternative housing will be promptly considered.
