asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have instituted or propose to institute proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Mr. John Rochford at Branganstown, Kilcock, County Kildare, and, if so, whether he would indicate how the matter now stands.

The Land Commission instituted proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Branganstown in the occupation of John Rochfort but the owner objected to acquisition. On consideration of the circumstances the Land Commission have decided to terminate the proceedings.
