Vol. 88 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water Supply to Meath Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that Mr. Michael Deane, a migrant from County Mayo, now residing on the Smith estate at Farganstown, Navan, was given a holding with no water supply; that he is suffering great inconvenience owing to same; and that alongside his holding is an unallotted portion of this estate, with a good water supply; and if he will take steps to see that there is a reallotment of these two farms so that Mr. Deane can have the facilities of this water supply.

The Land Commission have decided to provide Michael Deane with a water supply on the lands allotted to him on the Smith estate. The work will be commenced as soon as possible.
