It is proposed to erect a new Gárda Síochána station at New Ross, and for this purpose the Commissioners of Public Works are endeavouring to obtain a site in the town suitable for all requirements.
Does the Minister expect a decision to be taken soon?

It is a question of getting a site.
Will the Minister urge the necessity of acquiring a site quickly?
Mr. Boland
We have asked the Board of Works to do so.
I ask the Minister now to impress upon the Board of Works the urgency of getting a site at an early date, having regard to the conditions under which the Gárdaí concerned are living.
