Vol. 92 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Coast Watching Service.

asked the Minister for Defence if it is correct that payment of ration money to members of the Coast Watching Service is not made in respect of their days off duty; and, if so, if he is prepared to sanction such payments in future.

Members of the Coast Watching Service are paid ration allowance at the same rate as other soldiers of the Defence Forces during periods of authorised absence from duty.
