In the present uncertain position arising out of the emergency as to the delivery of supplies, I am unable to indicate what imports of petrol may be available for distribution at any particular period, but the petrol needs of owners of taxis and private hire vehicles are continually under review in relation to the supplies available.
The present supply position does not permit of the withdrawal of the existing restrictions on the use of small public service vehicles.
