Vol. 95 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Partition Negotiations.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he is in a position to state whether any talks or negotiations, official or unofficial, have taken place recently between the Government and the Government of Great Britain concerning the solution of Partition; and, if so, if he will make a statement on the matter to Dáil Eireann.

I am not in a position to add anything to the reply in relation to the same subject given to Deputy Giles on the 3rd October.

Could the Minister say whether the Minister for External Affairs recently met a permanent Under-Secretary of the British Foreign Office or not?

I have no knowledge on the subject.

You were not there?

Would the Minister ask the Minister for External Affairs?

If the Deputy puts down a question it will be answered.
