Vol. 95 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - West Cabra Supplies.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he is aware that great hardship is being caused to occupiers of recently erected houses in the West Cabra area, Dublin, by reason of having to travel long distances across the city to obtain supplies from the shops situate in the area in which they formerly resided, and if he will arrange to permit these people to transfer their ration coupons to the shops which have recently been opened in the West Cabra area.

Arrangements have already been made to facilitate residents in the West Cabra area to obtain supplies of rationed goods at shops in the district. Suitable action to relieve hardship in the cases to which the Deputy refers will be taken if particulars of these cases are brought to the notice of my Department.
