The quantities of eggs purchased by registered dealers and sold to registered wholesalers during the years ended 31st August, 1943, and 31st August, 1944, were, respectively, 2,164,000 and 2,267,000 great hundreds.
Particulars of eggs purchased by dealers and disposed of otherwise than by sale to wholesalers are not available.
