Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Court of Criminal Appeal.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in relation to the Court of Criminal Appeal for each of the years 1925 to 1945 inclusive: (i) the number of appeals heard, (ii) the number of convictions quashed, (iii) the number of new trials ordered, and (iv) the number of cases in which there was an acquittal as a result of the new trial.

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement which will be circulated with the Official Report.
