Vol. 103 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dunmanway and Bantry Fire Stations.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the date on which plans for the erection of fire stations in Dunmanway and Bantry were received in his Department; the reasons for the delay in sanctioning these plans; and whether the necessary sanction will be issued without further delay.

The documents in connection with the provision of fire stations at Dunmanway and Bantry were approved by my Department on the 18th ultimo. There was no unnecessary delay in dealing with the proposals. The final plans for the schemes were received from the local authority on 27th September, 1946, and 31st October, 1946, respectively.
