asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the hardships suffered by many farmers and others in making provision for water supplies for domestic purposes and for watering live stock; and if, in view of the remote possibility of getting such supplies from local authorities, he will consider introducing proposals for legislation to enable land owners to obtain financial accommodation from the Land Commission for such purposes, repayments to be made by way of additional annuity payments over a period of years.
