Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Live-Stock Exports.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state, with reference to live-stock exports since 1st May, 1947: (a) the quota, date of allocation and period of operation given to each continental country; (b) whether any quota granted has been exhausted; (c) the monthly off-take by each country under such quota; and (d) the corresponding monthly export to Great Britain.

There are no quotas for export of any class of live-stock except cattle. With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, a tabular statement giving, as regards cattle, the particulars asked for by the Deputy will be circulated with the Official Report.
