asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that farmers have been prosecuted, under the Road Traffic Act, for sheep trespass on footpaths; that farmers and other involved in the movement of live stock consider this position very unsatisfactory; and whether, in the circumstances, he will take steps to have the position remedied, by the introduction of amending legislation or the alteration of existing regulations as necessary.
