It is my aim to remove every obstacle in the way of an immediate drive to rehouse the occupiers of insanitary and over-crowded tenements in Dublin. Towards that end I intend to invite representatives of the corporation and other parties concerned with Dublin housing to meet me at an early date in order to discuss every aspect of the matter with them. It is my earnest hope that these negotiations will result in the co-operation of all interested bodies in achieving the maximum housing output.
