The total area acquired, resumed or taken over by the Land Commission in County Meath since 31st March, 1946, is 347 acres. The lands in the county, at present the subject of uncompleted proceedings for acquisition, comprise 913 acres.
asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in respect of County Meath (a) the area of untenanted land inspected and valued with a view to acquisition; and (b) the area gazetted for acquisition since the 18th February, 1948.
Although certain lands in County Meath have come under preliminary inquiry since the date referred to no lands have been the subject of formal inspection and valuation and no lands have been gazetted for acquisition.
