I am informed that there is no machinery for Cork County Council at present detained by the customs, but I understand that the Deputy has in mind some machinery which it is intended to import in the near future. If the Deputy will furnish the Revenue Commissioners with particulars of the machinery in question, they will inform him of the position in regard to customs duty, if any, and the steps necessary to effect prompt clearance.
