Excluding such classes as foremen, gangers, storekeepers, etc., the average number of manual workers employed on the Brosna scheme during November and December, 1948, and January, 1949, was 154, 155 and 147 respectively. The average weekly earnings of these workers during each of these months were £3 2s. 6d., £2 19s. 9d. and £3 2s. 10d. respectively.
