asked the Minister for Local Government how many houses have been (a) erected, and (b) reconstructed each year from 1930 to 1949, inclusive.

The information is being given in the form of a tabular statement, which will be printed in the Official Report.

The available figures, which relate only to houses built and reconstructed by local authorities, and by private persons and public utility societies with State aid, are as follows:—
