Vol. 119 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Creamery Stops.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware of the urgent necessity for the adjustment of creamery stops in the Dromid district, County Kerry; and, if so, whether he will sanction the establishment of creamery stops at Ballinakilla and Mastergeehy at the earliest possible date.

It has been represented to me on numerous occasions that travelling creamery stops are needed at Ballinakilla Cross and at Doora Cross, near Mastergeehy. I am informed by the Dairy Disposal Company that up to the present the difficulties involved in providing such stops have proved insurmountable, but that arrangements are being made to provide, for the 1950 season, stops at the two places mentioned, or as near thereto as possible, in lieu of the existing stop at Knopogue.
