I am unable to forecast what extensions to Dublin Airport may be necessary or when such extensions may have to be undertaken. The acquisition of approximately 700 acres of land in the vicinity of the airport is at present proceeding. There are 21 landowners involved (excluding Dublin County Council) of whom all but two are farmers or dairy owners. There are 15 houses on the lands of which eight are understood to be occupied by the owners of land and seven by tenants.
