Vol. 121 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tullylease (North Cork) Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether the documents in connection with the Tullylease, North Cork, water supply scheme have been received in his Department, and, if so, on what date they were received; and if he will further state when it is proposed to begin work on this very necessary scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the cause of delay in sanctioning proposals for a new water supply scheme at Tullylease village, County Cork.

With your permission, a Chinn Chomhairle, I will take this question and No. 41 together.

The documents in connection with the proposed Tullylease Water Supply Scheme were received in the Department on the 29th March, 1950, and have been approved. The sanitary authority have, however, been asked to consider the scheme further from the point of view of cost. I cannot say at this stage when work is likely to begin on the scheme.
