Vol. 123 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shelter for Forestry Workers.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that forestry workers employed on the open mountain at Kilworth, County Cork, have no shelter in which to keep their food dry or to provide cover against heavy rain, etc., and if he will arrange that they be provided with a portable hut or some other form of shelter.

Forestry employees at Kilworth are at present working in the nursery and in the woods. They are not engaged on the open mountain.

There is a tool shed and a shelter in the nursery and tarpaulins are supplied for the erection of temporary shelters.
