Information regarding the latest dates of posting for Christmas mails for places abroad was furnished to all post offices on the 27th September. The same information was supplied by the Government Information Bureau on the 29th idem to all Dublin and provincial newspapers.
As regards Canada and the United States, the dates range from the 24th November for surface mails to the 15th December for air mails.
