Vol. 123 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Mails Deliveries.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware of the deep resentment which a daily delivery of mails to a few privileged people in the Oldcastle area of County Meath has caused, and whether it is his intention to abolish this privilege by initiating a daily delivery in all areas; and, if so, if he will state when this is likely to commence.

I find that by adjusting the delivery arrangements in the area a daily delivery can be provided in those parts of the Oldcastle district which have a restricted delivery. The necessary arrangements will be made as early as possible.
