An app lication from Mrs. Hanley for a grant for the erection of a new house was received on 3rd June, 1949, but the building included a shop for which, under the regulations, a distinct and separate entrance was necessary. Structural alterations to make the building comply with the regulations were not completed and certified until recently. It will now be possible to pay the grant at an early date.
