Completion of Ballygar water supply scheme, which is being carried out by Galway County Council, is held up by supply difficulties in connection with the pumping and filtration plant. It is understood that the bulk of the outstanding materials and equipment has now been delivered and that the contractors will shortly be in a position to proceed with the installation of pumps and filters.
