Vol. 128 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Calling in of Loans.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will suggest to the Irish commercial banks, with as much emphasis as he considers proper, that, until further notice, they exercise the utmost patience and restraint in the calling in of all loans, advances or other financial accommodation made available by them to persons engaged in the business life of this country.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given on 8th November to a similar question asked by Deputy D. Costello.

Subject to correction, I think there is a difference between the question asked by Deputy Costello and this question.

The reply of the 8th November covers this question also.
