The provision in due course of a sewerage scheme for Ballintra has been recommended by the county medical officer, but in view of the relative urgency of other water and sewerage schemes in the county health district he has not included it in his list of most urgent schemes which has been adopted by the Donegal County Council as the basis of their current sanitation works programme. I am not prepared to request the county council to alter their decision in this respect.
