Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Undivided Farms in County Clare.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (a) the number of undivided farms in County Clare held by the Land Commission; (b) the date on which each farm was acquired, and (c) when these lands are to be allocated.

(a) Apart from land to be allotted for afforestation purposes, turbary, and plots awaiting rearrangement proposals, the Land Commission have 1,055 acres on hands on four estates in County Clare.

(b) One of the estates was acquired this year and the other three were acquired last year. Two of the latter estates have already been partly allotted.

(c) It is expected that 390 acres on three of the estates will be allotted before 1st April next. The allotment of the other estate of 665 acres must await the completion of drainage and embankment works.
