Business will be taken in the following order as set out in the Order Paper: Nos. 1, 5, 10, and 7—in 7, Votes 50, 23, 71 and 51—and then No. 8 and No. 12.
I understand that it is agreed that that programme will be finished to-day, that three hours will be allowed for discussion on the motion for the adjournment and that the Dáil will sit until midnight. I presume it is necessary for a motion to sit late?

I should like to get this matter clear. We sit, if necessary, until midnight but all business will be finished including a three-hours' debate on the adjournment. Therefore, any business on the Order Paper not finished by 9 o'clock will be put through without debate. Is that the position?
