The pensions and allowances under the Irish Seamen's Compensation Scheme have been reviewed and certain increases are being made with retrospective effect to the first pension pay day in May, 1952. The increases will apply to disabled seamen pensioners and to widow pensioners who have dependent children or who are incapable of self-support, or who are 40 years of age or over.
