I have approved a proposal by the Mayo County Council to purchase a site for a doctor's residence at Ballycroy and the planning and building of the residence may be proceeded with without the need for any further approval from me.
With regard to the proposal to erect a doctor's residence at Knocknalower, the position is that the proposal has been approved in principle and the local authority are seeking a suitable site.
