I would refer to my reply to a similar question from the Deputy on 3rd July, 1952.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary not aware that in County Cork the wages paid on these schemes are £3 6s. a week, while the county council rate for similar work is £4?
I am not so aware. I think the wages paid in County Cork and in every county are the county council rate of wages for the county.
If I supply the Parliamentary Secretary with information as to this, will he look into the matter?
