The Kerry County Council were informed on the 9th September last, that the working drawings and contract documents in connection with the building work on the maternity extension at Killarney District Hospital might be proceeded with. The proposals for the mechanical and electrical services have not yet been submitted to my Department. I understand, however, that the council are experiencing certain difficulties in financing this project and that these are at present being considered by them.
