Presumably the question relates to Mr. Liam Barry who I understand is the general secretary of the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers' Association. Mr. Barry was employed in the Civil Service from the 14th December, 1928, to the 27th November, 1950, as second class assistant, clerical officer, investigation officer and social welfare officer. His services were dispensed with on the 28th November, 1950, and he is not in receipt of a Civil Service pension.
I have no information as to whether the secretary of the Leinster Milk Producers' Association was at any time employed in the Civil Service.
Is it in order that questions relating to private citizens should appear on the Order Paper?This question is obviously intended to take away a man's character.
