The only additional workwhich fell to be performed by the former National Health agents in connection with the implementation of the Social Welfare Act, 1952, was the special exchange of National Health Insurance cards and Unemployment Insurance books for the new composite insurance card. For this work agents will be specially remunerated on the basis of 1½d. per card (or card and book) exchanged in the eight week period commencing 6th October, 1952. Payment for the work will be made at an early date.
