asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount of interest which the Irish Sugar Company paid to the banks for money advanced to it for each of the years 1950, 1951 and 1952.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Sugar Company and Bank Interest.
As the overdraft of the Irish Sugar Company, Limited, is not guaranteed by the State, I am not in a position to supply the information sought by the Deputy.
From whom can I get the information, if I cannot get it from the Minister responsible? I am asking the Parliamentary Secretary, who has failed to give me the information, from whom I can get it.
I suppose if the company wishes they could give it to the Deputy.
The company will not. Therefore I cannot get the information in this House or anywhere else.
