asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will indicate the number of unemployed in the Kilcaskan area, Bantry, County Cork.

The number of persons resident in the district electoral division of Kilcaskan registered at the local office of my Department at Bantry is 37.

In view of the many outstanding types of work already proposed for that area, and in view of the number of unemployed there, will the Minister use his good offices with his colleagues to get something done?

That is a separate question.
