asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the reasons why Galway County Council refuse to repair a cottage which is their property at Kellysgrove, Ballinasloe, County Galway, and if, in view of the fact that the cottage is now unfit for human habitation through no fault of the tenant, he will cause an inspection of the cottage to be made by an officer of his Department and take such steps as may be necessary to have immediate and urgent repairs carried out so that the tenant may continue to reside in it for the winter.
