A grant has now been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of erecting a new national school at St. Margaret's, County Dublin. It will be necessary for the Commissioners of Public Works to have working drawings, specification and bills of quantities prepared before tenders from building contractors are invited. As these preliminaries will take some time to complete, I am not in a position to indicate the date on which tenders will be invited.
