Vol. 143 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal Facilities (County Kerry).

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that representations have been made to his Department for a daily delivery of mails in the Bonane sub-post office, Aula, Kenmare, Killarney district, as well as for an earlier delivery of mails at the sub-post office each morning;and, if so, whether any action has been taken or will be taken in connection with the representations.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is now in a position to state if, and when, a daily delivery of mails is likely to operate in all areas in South Kerry.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 105 and 106 together.

Arrangements have already been made for a revision next year of the postal services in the South Kerry area with the object of providing a better delivery of mails in all districts. The position at Bonane sub-office—about which representations have been made —will form part of the examination.
