Vol. 145 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Postal Service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state when the proposed new district post office in the Crumlin area, Dublin, will be completed and available to the public and if it is proposed, when it is opened, to have a second morning delivery of letters to include English surface mail for the benefit of the resimonthl dents in that area similar to that enjoyed by the residents of other outlying districts of the city.

Plans for a proposed district office in the Crumlin area are not sufficiently advanced to enable me to state the probable date of completion.

It is not proposed to provide a second morning delivery of letters in the area as the volume of correspondence which would be available for such a delivery would not warrant the expense involved. An afternoon delivery is already provided in the area.
