Vol. 147 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Letterkenny Post Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the present position in regard to the erection of the new post office premises in Letterkenny.

Revision of the sketch plans for the new Letterkenny Post Office buildings has been completed and the final sketch plan is under consideration. Every effort will be made to have the remaining stages preparatory to commencement of building operations expedited as much as possible.

Can the Minister say if all difficulties in connection with the site and with the getting of title have been cleared up?

Considerable revisions had to be made in the plans, but the final revision has taken place, and the only question now is one of getting on with the job.

Are there any outstanding difficulties yet unsolved in regard to the title to the site in question?

No; there is no other difficulty in the way now.
