Public Authorities (Judicial Proceedings) Bill, 1954—From the Seanad.

The Dáil went into Committee to consider an amendment from the Seanad.

Minister for Justice (Mr. Everett)

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in the following amendment:—

Section 2.

Before sub-section (3) a new sub-section inserted as follows:—

( ) Section 259 and sub-section (4) of Section 260 of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945 (No. 19 of 1945) are hereby repealed.
