Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Registration of Scottish Trawlers.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in regard to the two Scottish trawlers, Arctic Moon (D 100) and Elizmore (D 110) at present fishing in Donegal waters, he will state (a) whether they have been purchased, chartered or hired, (b) the dates of application for registration in this country, (c) the dates of registration in this country, and (d) by whom they were registered, and for what period.

The two vessels to which the question refers are now owned by Irish registered companies and by virtue of their registration at the port of Dublin became Irish vessels.

The register, which contains all particulars of ownership, may be inspected on application to the Registrar, Custom House, Dublin, at all reasonable times, on payment of 2/-.
