I have received no complaints regarding Bord na Móna's system of distributing turf for sale. This is a matter solely for the board and is one in which I have no function.
Is the Minister aware that the dissatisfaction is so widespread at the moment in towns and in rural areas that people have written to Bord na Móna's headquarters but have received no satisfaction? Could the Minister take steps to ensure that poor people in places like Roscommon, Ballygar and elsewhere would not be without fuel for Christmas?
I have received no complaints and, as far as I am aware, Bord na Móna have received no complaints. If the Deputy gives me any complaints he has received I shall see that they are attended to by Bord na Móna well in advance for Christmas.
